Social Marketing is an approach used to develop activities aimed at changing or maintaining people’s behaviour for the benefit of individuals and society as a whole.

Liz Read is an experienced social marketing practitioner, having led the development of some of New Zealand’s most successful behaviour change programmes.

Sorted ( - Launched in 2002 with the by-line “If you want to get sorted, use your mouse”, Sorted is highly regarded as one of the most successful social marketing campaigns in New Zealand, designed to empower people to make good financial decisions at all life-stages so that ultimately, they achieve the financial security they want in retirement.

Cheers! ( - a consumer-centric programme designed to provide tools and education to help people make good decisions about alcohol; and to stay safe and sociable when drinking.

From 2002 – 2004 Liz led the national road safety campaign (when it was under the auspices of the Land Transport Safety Authority). 

In her consultancy capacity, Liz led the development and implementation of the $5.7m public education campaign to support the Electoral Referendum held in conjunction with the 2011 General Election.
